His journey has taken him from club success in the UK to leading national teams around the world, including England, Canada, Samoa, Spain, Germany, Kenya and others. He has coached in multiple World Cups and Commonwealth Games, consistently delivering success in some of the most demanding and culturally diverse environments in sport.
Across his career, Damian has led teams that have won World titles, reached major finals, and competed against the very best in the game. His work has not only been defined by results, but by his ability to communicate, connect, and build high-performing teams across different cultures, languages, and expectations. It is this global experience that now underpins his work as a keynote speaker and leadership consultant.
Damian’s transition from elite sport to business has been a natural one. At the heart of his coaching success was one defining principle: Communication Drives Performance.
In high-pressure environments, where clarity, trust, and alignment determine outcomes, Damian developed a deep understanding of how leaders influence people, not just through what they say, but how and when they say it.
His sessions are engaging, thought-provoking, and immediately applicable. Whether speaking to senior leaders, corporate teams, or organisations navigating change, Damian delivers clear, actionable insights that help people communicate better, lead more effectively, and perform at a higher level.
Damian is the author of multiple books, including best-selling coaching guides and his reflective work Can You Be Fluent in Success, which explores the human side of performance, leadership, and growth.
